There was no light at the end of the tunnel in her eyes. I can sense remarkable feminist ideology in this story and also a strong censure of the expectation of women in a patriarchal society. Overall, a fantastic short story collection that I’m glad I had to read and now I want to read more from this author. Before reading this short story, I went in to it not knowing what to expect.
