The plot around Bug Jargal is great but there are too many events between leopold and pierrot which remind us that this is a novel Prejudice The most brilliant accomplishment jafgal this novel is the exposure of the levels of prejudice exhibited between whites, the half-breed mulattoes, and the full blacks.
