Put those two things together and I love this story. I just really liked these 2 together By the time the book came to an end, I was rolling my eyes.
It was told in first person through Trey, but maan also got Vinnie’s perspective through third person omniscient.
Working two jobs, going to college, and taking care of his elderly grandmother and addict of a mother is burning his candle at both ends. Can Vince get over his fears and expect himself? I don’t know what he did to his voice for Trey 3. The only reason I finished it was because I enjoyed listening to Colin Darcy narrate. His Trey melted my heart. At his 25 years old he works two jobs, takes different classes and he takes care of his grandmother and alcoholic mother.
For you see, I’ve never forgotten Vinnie, no matter how many times he pissed me off, and I’ve never stopped adoring Trey, for always being true to himself. But, alas, a coming out story in his 40s!

As I grow more cynical about the sometimes thoughtless formulae of the gay romance genre, it is really jan to read a story that is both unabashedly romantic while illuminating the complex realities of human emotion.
